I am about to order a DX-5 and longbow limbs. Their limbs are rated on a 17in riser. My question is will the limbs gain much weight on the 15in dx5 or no because of the limb pad angles? Thanks

I had one for a few weeks, borrowed riser....... I had 3rivers Java Man limbs marked 43#-15inch riser. they went ABOUT same on both risers, the DX5 and my old DAS 17"er.....within a pound or two, as I checked on my draw board and my Pelouze/Rubbermaid scales.

Good to know thanks if it’s a pound or two no big deal. Just didn’t want limbs to gain 5lbs or more

Like said, maybe a couple of pounds gained but here you go...P.7

Just ordered a dx5 in sniper green with XL bamboo limbs. Have wanted to give one of these a shot since I test drove one at cloverdale a couple years ago

I like them myself. Low/standard grip...not the high one.

I have a Backland ILF version. Love it. Maybe the most but I've said that more than once. Rooty

Ya hermit I ordered the standard grip. The high grip definitely didn’t look like my cup of tea. I can handle my kodiak hunters higher grip but definitely not my favorite.
