The free campsites will start filling up Wednesday most likely, and there are nice indoor showers/restrooms as well.

would love to come to this and meet a lot of you but, there seems to always be a but these days. My brother is coming in from Florida and I have to take care of my father. it is hard to get away more than 3 hours. I try to have a hot meal for my brother plus feed my father. But sometimes things work out so I will see. I can't shoot but I can hobble around.

Jerry, I know how much life gets in the way...but if you can't make it, maybe you can make our State Longbow shoot the first weekend in September.

I will try to remember to post it. You can also contact Joe Clark (on the flyer above) and he can add your email to our list.

Probably not too many, but there's always stuff there to buy or trade...

I hope that everyone has a blast and a safe time. I'm busy with family stuff. Jerry

Anyone go? I wanted to but had other stuff had to be done. I think Mike Yancey was there.

I guess I’m a little unsure when they say “championship” shoot. To me that means I go and watch, not do some leisurely shooting around a 3d course. Am I correct?

Never worry about shooting at one of our shoots...we are a group of bow hunters more than 3D shooters. We have 3 shoots a year. The first is in March, right after our deer season ends. The Championship is in June and we usually do some selfbow making and such for several days before the weekend shoot. The 3rd and final shoot is in September, right before our deer season begins. Targets are typically set out in hunting fashion (a little closer and more brushed in). Yes Mike is usually at our shoots with his boys as he has been a long time member of the club. Come shoot in September... BTW, there are lots of pics of the targets on the Trad. Bowhunters of Arkansas FB page.

Thanks Bob! I’ll see if I can get one of the kids to look on FB for me. Not big on social media.

The link to their FB page is on the bottom of the flyer posted above. You can see several of the target setups... :) See you in September.
