Donut - he started split finger because he needed the arrow to get to the target. Later on he transitioned to three under. It's really no drama - just a place to put your fingers on the string.

Logan hunts with a compound these days. He still shoots a recurve from time to time, but likes his compound, which is fine with me. He can hunt with whatever he wants as long as he still wants to go with me.

He's a big boy now and we love to chase quail together as well.
