That Greek Key leatherwork is really cool… That alone makes me think it must’ve been a “production” bow, but I’m probably about the last person you’d want to identify it… The minimalist “shelf” on it reminds me of a LB that my dad had as a kid…. His bow would have been built pre-war, so probably in/after ‘37, when he’d’ve been 10.
I sure wouldn’t have the guts to try and string it, though!

It may have been common (?) back when that was made, but that is only the second bow I have ever seen, with a straight arrow groove cut into it on the strike plate. I just find it interesting since where the string nock is placed, usually brings the arrow down at a slight angle. Not straight across as that groove does. Just an observation. DANNY
