We've got the kid's shooting event all set and we're ready for another good year. Shoot station managers have good ideas for targets. Everyone is on board and getting ready. Gonna be a great time, but its coming up fast. Remember we always need volunteers for this event, so if you are a parent or enjoy working with children, see us anytime(we'll be there all week) leading up to the start of registration Saturday morning. You will be blessed for having helped. I guarantee it.

If anyone is there Thursday, be sure and stop at the campgrounds for fellowship and campfire. Doug and I will be providing live music around sundown.If someone wants to play and sing a song or 2, I will have a few guitars along.

The Compton Rendezvous is this w/e and we are packed and ready to head toward the west side of the state. Just a reminder that we'll be having our usual potluck dinner, Thursday June 15 6p at our camp near the practice area. Bring a dish to pass and make some new friends.
Also feel free to volunteer to help out with the Saturday morning kid's shoot. It will be an experience that you will never forget!!

I went with my daughter last year for the first time, she had a great time and we will be making the trip again. Hope to be there by mid Friday. Who do we speak to about volunteering? If you see a gray F150 with IL plates and a Kodiak tent stop by.
