So if you go up in glass thickness and use the same core laminations will and how much poundage increase will you get ? Say going from .040 to .050 glass same design and form

Depends on design ultimately but it's roughly 10lbs. for every 10 thousandth of an inch.

fdp, so by going to the .050 glass on both back and belly would roughly get me 10 lbs. or 20 lbs. increase.

Don't forget glass is heavy. You could end up with a doggy bow.

Would increase in core thickness be the better option if I like what got just to go up 10 lbs.

Yes I would increase your core thickness. JF

Yes MnM .020 change in glass thickness would likely give you 20lbs. change in draw weight.

I would be more inclined to increase core thickness as well if the design would allow for that.

I didn't see your other post. If you are just looking to increase 10lbs. do it with glass.

It will be easier to get the draw weight where you want it and an extra .010 in glass thickness isn't going to make any significant difference in limb weight.

Thanks, for the input gentlemen, trial and error learning is getting expensive in this hobby.

fdp x 2

I think the .020 would be closer to 6 to 7 lbs.
