It's a 68/69, Head Ski era Wing Thunderbird, 62", 51#@28. It's a beautiful bow, even with scratches (character/history), it is a beauty to me.
The bow has a solid phenolic riser and weighs 2# 10oz on my digital scale. It balances perfectly at the center of the pivot. The AMO is 62", but since Bob Lee didn't necessarily follow those guidelines, it measures at 61 1/3" from notch to notch.
I dug up a string for it and put my home-made arrow rest on it and shot about half a dozen arrows. It of course shots great...it's a Wing Thunderbird. :)

I always liked the Thunderbird and bet that grip is like wearing a glove, just the perfect fit. I have an old Wing compound riser {you thought was a Ketcham model} that Sam Durham converted to ILF and I really like it. Enjoy that Thunderbird.

Sweet bow George. How’s that compare to the Red Wing Hunter? Let us know. Good luck with the new bow.

George that's IMO one the top 5 bows that say classic elegance! Beautiful is what have to say but it's not just the looks. Kinda like the top muscle cars of the 60's and 70's! Never even seen one but read a plenty about them.
