In the process of deciding on which bow to buy next I put together a list of active custom bowyers who have a website. I post it here in the hopes that it will be useful to others.

PLEASE NOTE: 1) I do not claim that this list is comprehensive! I expect that others may respond with additions of the URLs of their favorite bowyers whose website I missed. 2) This list is limited to bowyers who have websites! I do not use Facebook or similar social media, so I limited the list to bowyers who have websites that do not require any third party sign-up or login. 3) As the list was compiled over some time, some of the bowyers may have ceased making bows (or will soon cease to make bows) since I added them to the list. 4) The list is organized geographically -- outside the USA, then within the USA by state. There is no particular organization WITHIN any country or state – it is not alphabetical and the listings are probably in the order in which they were found. Some websites did not list (or I simply missed it) a physical address. In those cases, I guessed on the state based on easily available information. I did not spend hours with search engines for the purpose of determining their business location nor did I hire a detective to try to track them down, therefore, some guesses may be wrong. 5) WARNING: This listing is not an endorsement of any bowyer or company! This is an awesome list! The only suggestion I have is that you keep it in a Google Docs spreadsheet and share a read only link, including contact info where people can submit new bowyers or let you know about ones that have gone out of business. I would be willing to set it up if you're not sure how.

What a great resource! You can add Crooked Stic Bows out of Indiana and Chuck's Custom Bows of California. Also, Maddog Archery (Nevada) is not taking orders and shutting down for good next month.

I have Yellowstone Longbows on the list, but under the wrong state -- Montana. I have corrected that mistake and others mentioned on this thread and added the websites/names suggested on the updated list which I will post a little later.
