Just wondering if anybody out there owns a Redman recurve... I have a 40# one coming..Want opinions on the smoothness, quietness, etc on them..They look to be well made bows..

I'm curious too.

I have only seen pictures of that bow. Maybe I am way off but it sure reminds me of a Martin Hunter.

ruintfletch.. If you already have one coming, why would you care what someone else's opinion is of it? No one will know how you will feel about it but you.

It does look like a Martin.. having said that, Bearpaw has made a living out of copying other archery products.. as has many other companies. BigJim

ruintfletch , I agree with Big Jim, you tell us your opinion when you get the bow.

Go to U Tube and type in Wolffie , not sure if that's how he spells it. He has done some of Bearpaw bows including the Redman. Very good videos.

Had my eye on that one too Ruintfletch. Have seen nothing but great reviews on the RM. I have a 35# Quick Stick I wouldn't part with for anything. Post up your thoughts when you get it.

I did get a Bearpaw Firestick last summer to take to STAR. What a fun short recurve!...But prolly gonna list to sell soon to make room for a Shrew I ordered.

Looks like a flawless copy of the Martin Hunter, nothing not to like.

I've seen Bodnick bows for sale on Kustom King's site and I just noticed that they are more expensive than time tested and proven Bear and DH bows, which they appear to mimic.

They look like good bows but if I want a Bear or a DH, both of which I love, I'll buy the original; it's just that simple.

Got the bow today... It shoots great.. Very smooth and very quiet. The finish work on it is flawless, very well done..Bow weighs in at 2.17# so it has a good mass weight to it.. Very stable shooter..i am quite impressed with it...Bodnik bows have come a long way in fit and finish...Can't beat a 30 year warranty either...

For those of you who haven’t seen one, here’s the bow that Bob received from me. I’ve been so into my longbows & have not been using it. Also, that’s my second deal with Bob & he’s been great to deal with!

There isn't a bow made today that isn't a copy of someone else's in the past, fundamentally speaking. :)

That's good news ruinfletch.

Congratulations on your new bow!

There is nothing wrong with the Redman... Great shooting bow, just prefer my ASL's more..

That happened to me with a Howatt Hibrido. Looked great and it was a Howatt, right? Can't go wrong, right? Got it, shot it once, it went right back on the auction site. One of the worst bows I've ever tried.
