A true treasure in archery. I made a comment on here about records set by longbow legends, Howard set several records and they are duly noted in this book. Don't find books of this nature often. It's definetely a book that can be read several times if you like Howard and if you don't, their is still a lot of facts and history that can be absorbed. Without Howard, the sport of archery may not be what it is today. His drive and determination to be the best was second to none. I find myself wondering what could Howard have done with todays technology. He made the best with what was available and it still works today. 5 star read.

Every Trad library needs one. This time of year I begin to reread the books I have put together thru the years. Some books have been with me since HS.
