time to post pics of those small trophy critters and even your favorite heads/arrows. Homemade heads or modified heads welcome too. Too many hunt those smaller critters and hunt them hard. Some critters are pretty darn tough hunts. They may be small but still worthy of being proud of

Wingnut behind the point, could also be reversed. Wingnut screw in heads. And a 38spl case pressed on to a field point, Aeronut.

About 1.25"of a 30-30 case being heavier than a 38 or 357 will give you a 125gr blunt for 11/32" shafts. Got this from a George Stout post.

I like wood arrow field points for squirrels and game nabbers for rabbits. I have gotten a lot of mileage but it's one of my favorites.

Seems our squirrels down here run on high octane caffeine. They dodge my arrows like a ninja.

I've shot and made many, but it is hard to beat the Judo. Anything that stops an arrow from burying under duff is the best in my book.

was a bit too slow this cool morning. Had two grey squirrels out by the feeder this morning but true to form, they were pretty active and hard to get close enough on. In the old days, I was guilty of not being slow enough at times. But these days, it is slow and super slow....no fast at all. The Judo point was willing to give it a shot but the squirrels just moved on too fast. maybe next time.
