I recently bought these ready to use arrows. Stamped on the shafts is TW290. Does this look familiar? Anyone know where these shafts came from?

I can’t help.

What spine are they? Or, how much do they weigh?

70 spine, not sure of the weight, over 500 gr. I need a new scale.

I was thinking that might be the spine deflection (Dan Quillian used to do that) 290 would be considerate over 70lbs.

Yup, super cedar from Dan Quillian. 290 is the deflection so those are 89# spine. They are made out of southern yellow poplar.

Southern Yellow Poplar makes sense. Thanks Kelly for that information.

Never a doubt that Kelly Peterson would nail that one. Way too easy for an old arrow shaft pro like him! :)
