A giant THANK YOU to Snow Crow for filling in and calling the shots in my absence!

Today's shot will be 18 yards between some tight obstructions.

God bless,

Morning.

I put my Bear Super Magnum away yesterday and tuned up my Bear Super Kodiak. I messed with my Super Kodiak all day yesterday.

18 yards-Between obstructions.

1997 Bear Super Kodiak, 60#@28", Aluminum Arrows.

Thanks CD.

My pleasure CD!

Nemophilist- Day one of ogling that gorgeous dipped Super K! Different arrows than the Super Mag used?

Snow Crow-I'm experimenting with 2016s and 2018s with different point weights for now. Once I get the right aluminum arrows flying good, I'll start with different spine cedars.

That bow with 2018’s would be a shonuff killer. Love the SK’s .

Battery of three from the woods to the side in order to manufacture an obstruction. Ended up a squatting, heavy cant, oblique angle 17-18 yard shot through a basketball sized hole in the brush.

Three different fletch configurations: first was 3x2x full size Blazers (rightmost), second and third were 3x2x10mm and 4x2x8mm.

55# Montana, 29" .500 (.470-.490 actual) carbon, 250 head, 520 TAW, 24% FOC, Blazer vanes.

I haven’t played in awhile. These are the 1st shots I’ve taken in 5 or 6 weeks. Anyway as called using my Freeman LB #1 was the cedar just in the obstruction. Nice shooting everyone

Thanks for the call CD

Here's the result of my hunt... my son and I had a great time! He's not the giant I was after, but he'll do just fine.

Nice buck. What was it shot with?

From: CD
Date: 21-Nov-22

It was not my bow, but very traditional in a sense... I used my father's old Browning 30-06 that he purchased in the early '60's. A lot of history with that hunting tool.

Good shooting fellas. And congratulations CD! I shot the 48# Scorpion again today with a tapered cedar arrow. I’m starting a refinish on the bow this week. Like fishin coyote I hit the foam and in just about the same place. Have a good evening everyone! lance

Here’s my line-up. Vertical and horizontal noise and had to pass through a sago palm near target. Steady cold rain.

Okay, cold rain was really only 48 degrees, and I shot carbon arrows instead of wood to make up for it. Border 68” Harrier pushing Axis 400s. FS is the red fletch.

Chad, that must be far northern Alabama. My Dad’s 30-06 Rem721 is sitting here talking to me lately, I know what you mean.

Nice shooting everyone! I've never shot a static tip... would like to try one one day.
