No shooting today guys. I got called in to work. We had a new MRI chiller froze up. We had to build a plastic house and get some torpedo heaters going. We had to save this new equipment before things got really bad. JF

Testing fletching location from 20 yards:

1.75" from throat of nock was first (rightmost), 1.25" from throat of nock was second (leftmost).

My fingers are still cold. Farkin' wind!

Thanks Paul. They sure do shoot great. I love the feeling this bow gives me. Makes me feel warm all over, don't even realize it's freezing outside. JF

I hunted with my Frank SanMarco this AM. 18 degrees and 17 mph winds. Saw one deer.

I just pulled out the new to me Kodiak Take Down I just recieved. And the very first time shooting a bear T/D

shot 3 different spines to check it out. The FMJ and Valkyrie are both close at 20 yards. The Doug Fir was consistently hitting right on follow up shots.

This bow is a pleasure to shoot and I could go hunt with it right now.

FS Sunday, 23 yds seated. Carbon Easton Axis Trad 400 followed by a Rose City POC, powered by the Border Harrier. Arrow penetration looks backward, it’s usually the carbon stuck in to the fletch. Nice afternoon here, mid fifties.

I took a 23 yard shot from the kitchen porch at a slight angle. Shooting a tapered cedar arrow with my 48# Scorpion. A little off from my point of aim but I’ll take it. Have a good rest of your day everyone! Lance
