If you shoot them with the auxiliary blades, have you shot them into a foam block? will the aux. blades hold up or do they snap off?

Sometimes they do....sometimes they don't....its better to practice without them, and then insert them when you are ready to hunt...they fly pretty close to the same, with or without the razors...at least they have for me for 50 years.

They are designed to break before they cause significant drag. That's what Fred intended, so there is that to consider. They do let great blood trails.

One time I shot a deer with the inserts in the Bear razorheads. I found the arrow without the insert. When cleaning out the deer I felt the insert sticking in the rib. I was lucky I didn’t cut myself. I told the butcher about it so he didn’t get cut. Something to think about when using broadheads with inserts.

NO. They will not. Do not practice with them. You will lose or damage them. Stick said it well. I wouldn’t hunt with them either if I were you. They perform just as well as a two blade. Trust me.

Agree. Bleeders are unnecessary and hazardous when dressing

I'm like Desperado, I never use the aux blades, never saw the need. My favorite broadhead, mostly because of the nostalgia factor.

I may be alone here but I've always used the bleeders for better blood trails. Only killed one deer without the bleeder and that one was by mistake as I'd already missed a deer with it and grabbed it out of my quiver in a hurry.

X2 with Sawtooth (Original).
I use the Bear (greenie) Razorheads quite a bit as a two-blade. I do add weight to them to bring them up to 125 or 145 grains. I've had no problems with them with arrow flight or leaving a blood trail especially with an entrance and exit hole. My buck this year was a complete pass through. Recovery was 125 yards with no problem following the blood trail.

I have always used them as a two blade head except when I did a lot of small game hunting back in the late sixties and early seventies but as a two blade for big game always.
