I bought a bear Grizzly off the classifieds here and decided to refinish it. I used Phil’s instructions on the spray max 2k and it was my first time using that. I think it turned out good with a matte finish especially for a hunting / shooting bow. I’ll post some pictures

I was able to keep the original writing on the bow and just added a new strike plate and rest.

The scratch in the glass was too deep to sand out but it blended in some.

I redid a twin to your Grizzly last year and just killed a deer with it this past Saturday.

We are lucky to have fellas like Phil who are great at refinishing and will share their tips with us.
