I pulled open the desk draw this morning and began rooting. You see the desk drawer is not organized in any way, shape, or form. Of course, that is pretty much me anyway...unorganized.

In said drawer I found loose nocks, a micro socket set, three broadheads, two guitar picks, a small tripod that fits onto arrow ends, loose field points of various sizes, a 22 clip, a double A battery charger, a 3Rivers PC screen cleaner, a screwdriver, scissors, shoe goo, a shooting glove, and myriad other scatterings. Oh, and that's just one niche (pronounced nitch out here in the country).

I can almost hear Ralph Edwards saying, "This is your life, George D. Stout. :)

I hear ya, I keep finding stuff I put up "where I'll never lose it" a year or more ago while getting last minute stuff ready for archery opener. Sucks when I've already lost hope of ever finding it and buy new ;)

Sounds like my desk/work table. It started life as my great grandfathers desk back in the 1880’s. 3 drawers plus the belly drawer. Onedrawer is small hand tools, some left from my copier repair days. Reloading kits, archery odds and ends, Marine stuff, all in an organized mess occupying the other drawers. Kids are goin have a fit trying to figure it out.

Boy can I ever relate to that!! I am always looking for something I know I have somewhere but can't seem to find it in all my junk.

George, the way you ended your post was marvelous. I may be the only one on here who remembers watching "This Is Your Life". By the way you can view some old episodes on You Tube. Jawge

George, you have a way to go to catch up to me. That sounds like our kitchen drawer.

Most of my archery stuff is in one corner of the basement and guitars / sound equipment

in another. But we will not talk about the garage.

I have plenty of clutter. Just one question what is an arrow tripod? >>>----> Ken

I wasn't too clear on that 2 bears, it's a small tripod for compact cameras. The nock end of the arrows will fit into the three tubular legs to hold it for those self shots, etc.

Sounds like me to, l put some things up where I won’t lose them but can’t remember what they were.

I started early in life.

A older relative got me hooked.

"Brett, go look in that junk drawer for something you want."

Pestered other older relatives afterwards.

"Can I look in your junk drawer?"

Everybody had one.

Full of treasures from years gone by.

Thanks George for the post.

That makes sense. I know you take a few selfies as you go stumping through the woods with us in tow. Ken

Our junk drawers contain items our children don’t know about because of age or archery related. So, I have started to label a few of the odd items like my “straighten arrow” tool.

I remember Ralph Edwards and "This Is Your Life" and I too have a "niche" or two!

I actually made niches to organize my stuff, and they all turned into junk drawers, in one way or the other. I know I have everything, but I can’t always lay my hands on it, when I want/need it.

My Wife keeps cleaning out my junk drawers. All kinds of stuff to be found in them.

I think my whole basement is a cubbyhole. Man do I have the "stuff".

Shore would be nice to have a photo or two of some of the clutter? BLESSED BE!
