Rattlesnake skin-backed Osage, beavertail grip and rest, bison horn tips. 66" 47#@28"

Lots of kinks and dips to work with, slight heat corrections for propeller twist and slightly flipped tips, otherwise it follows the natural shape of the stave.

Thanks to Bigstriper (Kurt) and his brother Steve for lugging the wood up to Elm Hall:) Another big thanks to Pappy for his opinions and looking over the goodies with me :)

No full draw pics yet, rolling solo for the pics today. Shoots hard, quiet and fast. That's all I need :)

Arrows are home rolled PO cedar with rattler skin cresting accents. Flying great from her. Couldn't be happier with how easy it was to get tuned up. Most likely gonna be my go to next month.

Anyways, enjoy the pics guys and best of luck this season!

Very nice setup altogether Damon.

I would like to see full draw when get someone to take a picture for you. I’m guessing it looks pretty darn good though. You learned well.

Good luck with hunting season. It’s coming right up. Less than a month now.

hawkeye, I can't claim it as an original idea, I've seen some beauties with snake cresting bands. Some on here.

BJ, I asked my girlfriend to snap a few, but she insisted that we take a few at the cabin where it's all woods for the background lol. Thanks for the compliment, I'm sure we'll be up there soon and I'll post up.

Damon, the Bow looks great. Glad the Osage stave turned out to be a good one, looks like you did a good job on finishing the Bow and glad that it shoots fine as well, probably has something to do with the Shooter. I will tell Steve that you are enjoying the Osage and show him the picture of your Bow. Hope to see you next time at Elm Hall or maybe somewhere else. Kurt

Thanks, gentlemen!

Kurt, I'm really hoping to make it a few days camping next year, hoping for a couple other shoots too! Tell Steve thanks again for me! I'm forcing myself to take a break until after bow season, but I'm itching to start on the next stave. Ha!

From: BigStriper1

Damon I will tell Steve and show him the pictures, hope you can camp next year and maybe make the Tennessee Classic, that’s also a can’t miss shoot for us. We sure love Pappy’s place and friends. Hope to see you next year. Kurt

Great looking bow! I've been having a hard time finding a snakey osage stave with medium to wide late wood growth rings without to much propeller twist. If anyone can steer me on to some I would appreciate it. Again great looking bow.

From: Altek

Hairy canary, those are nice!! Beautiful job! All that's left now is the break in process. You know, put on some character marks like the rest of us do. Maybe drop-kick it around the driveway when loading the car, or slam it in the truck door. You could just beat the dickens out of it on one of those big ole' yard logs you showed in the pics. Just typical stuff. Otherwise deer might laugh and call your bow a prettyboy.

Don't let deer laugh and call your bow a prettyboy. Prepare it now, avoid the embarrassment. :)

Tony, LMAO I've been beating the poor thing up, so the deer are apparently afraid to get within 20 yards. It's like they think they're too good to get killed by it!
