Got the Cliq chair to use this fall for hunting.

Haven't used it in the woods of course but it seems quiet. 3 lbs. Time will tell as far as using it for deer hunting but it is pretty comfortable.

I set in it testing it out at the house. There was a little noise where the front leg set in the fabric pocket. I sprayed just a little WD40 in the pocket and that took care of the noise. I've never paid $100 for a chair but with my back issue it's worth it if it works out.

It certainly is compact. How does it do on uneven ground?

Frank, I hadn't had time to get it outside yet..just set in it inside at the house. Plan on testing it out some this evening. I will report back on that. The feet on the legs are flared some so I'm hoping that will help in wet areas.

Good question Frank. I hunt in the mountains so there is never level ground.

There's not Adjustment for several settings like on a Millenium chair. I usually can adjust by digging the ground out some for whatever leg needs lowered but I'm usually on ground that's not that hard. That's what I've had to do for years because I've never had the option for adjusting legs..would be nice though. I thought about the Millennium chair but just don't want that much weight going in over a mile

The Millenium is nice but as you said they are heavy.

Well, the Cliq chair seems like it's gonna do ok as far as being stable for hunting out of natural blinds. I'm sure in soggy mud it will sink just like every other chair I used. Might get some tennis balls and attatch them to the legs even though the feet on the legs are flared out some.

Tennis balls or a stack of lids off of jars.

We picked up some REI chairs for concerts outdoors and such . Didn’t even go with the (spendier) ultralight model and they are quite pleasant as long as they don’t sink into the ground. I will say that they are not going exceptionally stable, so a test drive is worthwhile.

I like that they are at a height where I believe I could easily transition to my knees, rather than trying to shoot while seated.

How is that chair to shoot out of TG?

Frank, it got dark on me so all I was able to do was take it outside and test it on different types of soil best I could. I can tell I would have no problem shooting out of it as far as clearance or stability. I like to shoot standing or on my knees when I can but that's not always possible. I need to practice more from a seated position though.

A few years back I spent the $$ on a Millenium chair and have never regretted it. Best chair I’ve ever used. When I hang it over my shoulder with the strap I don’t even notice the weight. It’s only 7 pounds. Adjustable legs with nice pads on bottom that don’t sink.

Daniel, I started to get the Millenium chair but I'm trying to stay light as I can..I bet it's the ultimate ground hunting chair..it's really only 4 lbs heavier than the Cliq chair which isn't a whole lot more.

I think I WOULD destroy that the first time I SAT IN IT.I don't mean to be rude but it doesnt look very strong to me.

I use a Walkstool, it's light, small and works. Just buy the right size for your height and needs. The case has a snap loop or it fits in a small daypack.

The reviews I've watched on youtube indicate it makes a fair amount of noise folding and unfolding it, and I'm not wild about the seat material - seems like it would make a lot of noise if you shift your weight in it. On the other hand once you're in it, it doesn't seem to creak or make any significant noise, and the weight and comfort and compactness are very cool though. I guess if you're careful setting up it should be pretty good. Keep us posted once you've had it in the woods a few times.

Anything with no back rest, or the ability to set it up that I could rest against a tree is a no go for me. However for those that enjoy them, and can get comfortable I am happy with, and for you.

I guess time will tell if it will work for me. If not, I can use it at the beach..lol

It's nice to be able to move and set up in just seconds. Sometimes you just need to move locations quickly and quietly.

I also used mine as a mobile office chair. I would use a portable printer, laptop and the Walkstool under the rear door. If I see friends at an archery shoot I bring my own chair to sit and talk. Never enough chairs at traditional shoots, this was well worth the money I paid years ago.

Well, I've used this Cliq chair this season and I have to say it has worked out well. I don't think there is a "perfect chair ", but this Cliq chair is on of the most comfortable chairs I've sat in.

If you're careful you can be quiet setting it up. Doesn't set too high but the height is fine for me. It's one of the quietest fabric chairs I've used. I did lubricate in the pockets where the frame sets in the pockets. I'm pleased with it.

Yea, it's not perfect but at least my sciatica doesn't bother me while I'm sittin in it

Second the Walkstool. Hunted this year with it and the rest of the seats I used collect dust. As mentioned get the one thats best for your seating height.

The walkstoo would be good except for me I need back support.

The walkstool looks to be pretty nifty. Quick to deploy. It's a bit lighter and with three legs it won't teeter.

Off topic. Comfy places to sit are few and far between outdoors. That's why over the last few years I carry my REI Flexlite Macro camp chair. 2 lbs 9 Oz. That chair is MACRO comfy. SO darn comfy I've had mine set up for months in the LR of our house.
