Who's handled the newer Bob Lee Cobra limbs. What do think? >>>-------->

They are the most accurate limbs I've ever shot. I'm not sure if its the material, the design, or a combination of the two. They seem to recover so quickly that even on a bad release they perform great. They may or may not be faster than the standard limbs and they do not feel like other supercurve limbs.

Limbs are very smooth drawing, one of the quietest recurves I have shot. Seem to have good speed but I have never chronographed any of my bows so I couldn't compare. I really like them and don't think you could go wrong getting a set.

Wayne, the bow in the picture is a Timberghost G3SS. The Timberghost has more hook in the limb, meaning it is a little more super curve than the Bob Lee cobra curve limb. The Timberghost has more weight at the start of the draw cycle and I think gains only a pound or so per inch towards the end of the draw cycle. The cobra curve limb feels more like a the traditional recurve draw cycle. The cobra curve is one of the quietest recurves I have shot. I put yarn wraps and use styktamers on the Timberghost and that makes it really quiet for hunting and I like that the styktamers keep brush from getting between the string and the limb when hunting. It’s probably not even fair to comment on speed as I have never chronographed any of my bows. They both have very good speed but the Timberghost might be a little quicker.

I've been shooting a Cobra Curve since May, and no, they're not that fast compared to a conventional limb. As far as smooth, a lot of guys can't shoot them because they build weight up front, right away. Then as you get farther into the draw, the limbs become "smoother" as they stop building weight so quick. But they are a super nice limb.
