I received a nice batch of dried Chanterelle Mushrooms from a leather waller today. WOW! What a wonderful surprise. Thanks so much Jeff Durnell! I can’t wait to try them. I have never had Chantrelles before. He even sent me these unusual white chopsticks to eat them with. Thanks for the chop sticks too! Thanks again Jeff for sharing those mushrooms with me. Another good guy on the leather wall!:)

Those are Sheep’s head mushrooms not Chanterelle’s. I have never had Sheep’s head mushrooms either. I can’t wait to try them.

I hope you enjoy them Don.

It was too dry last month for chanterelles and I only got a few, not enough to bother with the dehydrator. We're finally getting a little rain now though and sheepshead season is about a month away, so hopefully it rains occasionally and enough to keep the ground moist until then.
