Looking at a 58" Wild Horse Creek Kestral.. Wondering if it would be ok to a 29" draw? Are they smooth, quiet, quick etc?Looks to be a well made bow.. Any other input would be helpful...

I had a 60" Kestrel for a while, but traded it back to the fellow I bought it from as I gravitated toward ASLs. In my opinion, the bow was very well made, in terms of looks and quality of finish. It was an absolutely smooth, quiet shooting bow and, I found the grip to be very comfortable and repeatable. It was a low grip, with a very slight locator ridge for the thumb. It was actually the "transition" bow that helped me realize I prefer a low grip. I only draw 28" so I can't say for certain how it would be for you at 29" but, the bow was very nicely made and a pleasure to shoot.

I shoot a 60" WHC kestrel, its a fantastic bow. A close friend of mine that I shoot with regularly has a 56" with a 30" draw. He has zero problems with the bow. He has a 60" WHC recurve as well. He actually preferred the kestrel over the recurve at ETAR last weekend. I have been really impressed with the WHC since I purchased it here on the LW.

I'm shooting a 58, but at a 27inch draw . It is easily the nicest shooting long bow I have , and I have a Holmes osprey, mesa , Mohawk hybrid longbow, black hunter , Vermillion River and various ILF longbows. The kestrel is my fave
