As called, thanks CD!
Hard quartering to angle; in fact the enraged tennis ball had begun a charge, no doubt intending to trample me to my doom. My self-defense shot grazed the beast's side, spinning him off balance, which saved me from an inglorious end at the hooves of a vicious Cape Wilson.

Good afternoon FS Shooters. Great call CD. I shot as called and I believe it's a great hit. Although I was aiming a couple inches higher. I think I took out his pumper and 1 lung. Shooting my 68" 44# Straight Longbow and GT Trad Classic 600. Have a great night everybody. JF

These quartering shots are tough because bear is no well. I tried to piece him together with a broken cedar shaft but gave up and shot at the pine cone instead, which I smacked pretty good. Cedar arrow from 14 yards (seated, hope that will be allowed) and 68” Border LB.

Shot as called with the 55# Necedah and a spruce arrow. This is about as 1/4 as I can get from shooting off the side of the garage! Have a good day everyone! Lance

14 yards quartering away. A little lower than I planned, but I don't think he's going far.

Thanks for the call CD. My favorite hunting shot… caught this nice buck while sneaking to my stand, 14 yds quartering away while I hid behind a tree.

And then, just as I was about to start tracking… this nice bill elk stepped out and offered a second shot, also quartering away at 14 yds… shooting my Big Jim tonight. Have fun shooters!
