I don't know Cliff, but I regret not buying more of those autumn orange shafts when I had the chance-s. I still see stragglers pop up at yard sales on occasion and grab all I see... but it doesn't happen often enough. I'll look through my stash and see if I have any 1916's, if I do you can have them.
Good to see you back here. Don't be a stranger.

As far as I know Easton still makes the Legacy model with those specs although you have to check stores as supply can be spotty.
The Tribute model by Legacy seems to be a good shaft. I've been using these when I can't find the Legacy They are solid black with swaged nock end and are around $40 a dozen inserts not included.

I have a life time supply of Autumn orange 2114s for my 52# bow plus a nice set of woodies. But, some back sent all my 1916s and a light bow to two of my grandsons. Then recently I had a 45# bow made, not thinking I'd have a problem replacing the 1916s. :) I have plenty feathers, nocks, broadheads and what not but no 1916s. All I've found have uni-nocks or x nocks. If I knew I'd have this problem, my grandsons would be shooting something else. :)
Would the Tribute hold up for whitetail and hogs?

Liquid Amber: Easton's website says these are made using XX75 I've not had any hunting shots with them but I'm have used them quite a bit in 3d shoots and they've taken some hard hits(misses?) without damage. I think they would be fine for deer. You've got a good alloy and shaft weight so I don't know why they wouldn't work on hogs. Lancaster Archery website describes them as a good " youth and beginner shaft" but I think they are beyond that. Just my opinion. F W I W.

I searched all of the on-line suppliers I know of & couldn't find any 2016 legacy arrows/shafts in stock & very few 1916s & 2018s. I contacted one of my favorite suppliers & asked about the 2016 Legacy. They responded that the shaft has been discontinued. I didn't inquire further, but I assume that means the entire Legacy XX75 aluminum line is discontinued since the 2016 is a very popular size. I suppose that's why Easton's new carbon shaft is called Legacy.

I use FS Discount Archery when ordering aluminum shafts. I think they still have them in stock.

If you aren't picky about the color, Easton Jazz shafts are XX75 aluminum. I don't think the deer will care :'). DANNY

Ya, Tribute and Jazz shafts are made from the same alloy as the costly shafts. I my experience they group exactly the same. - lbg

Except if Legacy are still available Tribute shafts are the only ones with swaged ends. The Jazz now has the uni-bushing.
The Easton website still shows the Legacy available. They’re the only shafts in the heavier spines.

I had a large supply of 2018 Legacy, but I sold them when my bow poundage dropped to size 2016. I went to stock up on Legacy 2016 but I had trouble finding them. As of last week, I'm now shooting carbon arrows.

A while back someone posted on here that Easton was no longer going to make the Legacy shafts. Since then I’ve been buying 2216 and 2018 shafts until I have plenty now. 3 Rivers is showing 2018 on their site and Archery Past has 2216 and 2219. I know that doesn’t help you find 1916 shafts but maybe it will help someone else.

I talked to the folks at Easton and the Legacy Aluminums have been discontinued. The Game Gettter and Camo Hunter lines will remain will remain in production in the "hunting arrow" line.

Easton Tributes are XX75. These are 3.33 a shaft. Best bang for your $$$ unless you shoot so good you want to pay higher price for added straightness. But seem to be out of stock.
