Guys, let's be honest about the craftsmen. I see names Norm and "Pope" (Allen) being used and that it is always great to date or indicate other characteristics of the bows. BUT, let's remember that except for the early days when Norm was the maker, that other hard working and talented bowyers are doing the work: particularly now. Let's give them credit although they are un-named. I have two Columbias so I feel that I have a right to make a comment here.

"BUT, let's remember that except for the early days when Norm was the maker, that other hard working and talented bowyers are doing the work: particularly now."

"Early days"? Was someone else building Blacktail bows between the time Norm founded Blacktail bows decades ago and when Allen Pope purchased the company? Just wondering...

From: Elkpacker
Date: 16-Jun-22

It was just Norm until he sold

From: Tom Litchfield

Thanks Gary, I thought I had missed something over those first 20+ years of Blacktail bows.
