I think I'll be changing the leather grip on this recurve. Everything is in excellent shape except for the leather. Has anyone here done this?
What is it like under the leather? Is the leather itself that gives the bow grip it's contours or is it the take down socket that is molded and all I would have to do is wrap it?

Just clean & slick it up, then re wrap it. >>>----> Ken

Great. Love to hear success stories. I should have added if the grip don't suit you you can build it up & shape to fit before you re wrap it. Bond O , fiberglass or something simler. Get it just like you want it. >>>----> Ken
