Hey guys and gals, anyone have any experience with pine hollow bows... good, bad or otherwise?

Are you talking about Mike Yancey's bows?

I met Mike at a shoot in Granada, MS back in the 90's. Spoke very knowledgeable and an avid outdoorsman. I've purchased a few backings and hide glue from him along the way. I would be comfortable doing buisness and taking his advice.

Then they are about as good as they get.

Mike's handle on this web site is "Pine Hollow" although he hasn't posted here for quite some time. He is more active over on the Trad Gang website. He is an upstanding fellow.

I've bought bow staves and bow making supplies from him and have had no complaints.

Mike's been around archery for a long time, I suspect he's as good as anyone and better than a lot.

I saw his bows at the Tenn. Classic one year. Great staves, good work and great attention to detail. Haven't shot one, but I make bows and his look superb.

Great guy. I wouldn't hesitate to make any purchase with him.

Mike made a Bow for me quite awhile back. Amazing and beautiful selfbow. For the life of me, I don’t know why I sold that Bow. The one that got away.

He's a good man and makes an outstanding bow.

Mike Yancey builds some real nice bows.

I've never owned one, but I've shot them a few times in hunting camp with Mike.
