It seems I have a problem. A disease that's going to get me ran out of my own house. Anyway, I bought an Omega Royal Huntsman in a moment of weakness. She is Emberglow in color w/brown glass, 60" in length, draws 53lbs@28" and with a couple of small wool puffs on the string, whisper quiet.

very nice! I feel your pain of the "disease". Is there a 12 step program to cure my addiction? Fortunately my girl is very tolerant.

Yellah Nocks

"I can only marvel at the beauty of those bows."

I have told Kegan that in my opinion, he makes functional art.

I don't think I've bought my last one and the two that I have aren't going anywhere. Currently pondering a 70" Royal Huntsman for 3D :)

Nitro1970

I like the Emberglow with brown glass, that might just be my choice for my next Omega.

It would be 10" longer with a lower draw weight for 3D.

"I feel your pain of the "disease". Is there a 12 step program to cure my addiction?"

I guess I'm doing pretty well. ;)

I got my 68" Imperial in Oct. 2019.

The second one is a 66" Royal Huntsman, which was delivered a year later in October 2020.

I am contemplating another but if I go for it, it will arrive about two years after the last one.

This one would likely be a 70" Royal Huntsman for 3D, currently considering riser materials.

I have a loyalty to these bows because I like the way they shoot/perform and their subtle beauty; IMHO they are a great value.

It is no small thin, too, that Kegan is very helpful, easy to communicate with and has loads on integrity. :)

Reminds me of the Stevie Ray Vaughan music video Cold Shot.

I just ordered the Huntsman in 62" maple core, Emberglow riser, brown glass 42#-44# range. Kegan's targeting a mid-October completion. Hope to still stick one with it this season. If it hits where I'm looking right out of the gate, I'll be toting it rest of season. Despite being a vintage Bear recurve guy, I've really been wanting a custom hybrid longbow and this meets all my criteria and price point. I tend to shoot longbows better. I like shooting the Montana's but in my lower draw weight there are for more powerful effective bows such as these Omega's. Apparently I suffer from the same illness that found me too in a moment of weakness.

I did so well not catching the disease but lately I have it.
