For the past 16 years the S.T.A.R. shoot, or Sherwood Traditional Archery Rendezvous has been held at Sherwood Archers in Roanoke, Va. We get a good turn out of archers from Va., Pa., W.Va., NC, etc. I know a lot of you guys have been to our shoot in the past. We strive to put on a good shoot for all of our shooters and make sure everyone has fun. We've had to move it up a week this year from our normal first week in June date. It is scheduled for May 28 & 29, 2022 so you guys can put it on your calendars.

Tha Cool Springs Gang will be there as usual! These guys work their tales off all weekend, so we can play.

Definitely will be there also, haven't missed but one. These guys and gals put on one blazing good time. Will suggest boots for the 3d-kind of hilly. May have to try it again this year as feeling pretty stable these days. See ya'll there.

I sure wish things were different, but this will have to be 2 in a row that I miss. Last year because of work, and this year because of a family commitment on Memorial Day weekend. This is a great shoot - with great courses, really nice grounds and facilities, and outstanding hosts. Make this one, if you can, folks.

One of the best shoots I've been to! I plan on making the hour and a half drive from WV to attend with my son. Beautiful setting and lots to do in Roanoke/Salem area for the wife and younger son while we fling some arrows. I'm looking forward to it!

It is getting close now and I am so ready for it. One of the best shoots you could ever attend .

Again a great shoot by a great crew. Friday night was interesting wi.th the rain and thanks for those campers below me who found my tennis shoes that floated away and returned them. Saturday and Sunday were great. That tough man was something that lived up to its name and the ranges were superb. Randy and crew, I hope you know how much all of us appreciated all the work you did to make this shoot possible, it is the highlight of my archery year and was just so enjoyable as have been the other's you have put on for 22 years now. It just does not get any better than Sherwood Archers and the people who make it happen. Thanks again.
