Actually went squirrel hunting but they didn't want to participate. Took my 10yo grandson along with his 20ga 870 and I took my Bear Takedown and my new Soap Creek backquiver. Never used a backquiver before so it was a new experience for me. We jumped a couple deer and saw a racoon but no squirrels. On the way out I started stump shooting and taking a few long shots too. I think I could do that everyday.

Best time of year to practice in hunting clothes...if you don't now..spring and summer it's too hot. I just shot a few in heavy gear.

I’ll bet you grow to like it. I was a Plains quiver guy for many, many years until I got a Soap Creek just like yours. I rarely leave home without it.

Yep, always a good day when shooting my bows and spending time with my grandson. No snow here in southwest Indiana yet and looks like the big front went around us to the south. It was nice here with partial sun and mid 30's.

Stumps and back quivers full of blunts are comfort food.

Thats fun stuff for sure. I enjoy stump shooting in the woods. This last year I was told by a gamewarden that I needed to have a small game lic on me just in case. I`m ok with that. Problem here today is it was -9 this morning, though it did warm up to 6 today, but the stumps are under snow too. I`ll just have to wait :(

Nice bow and quiver!

Lookin good there Randy. Always a good time when you can take grandkids along. There's a bit of a learning curve with back quivers. It don't take long. The more you use it the better it gets.
