Where are you all doing your horse trading these days? I used to buy and sell a lot on here and another site (which shall remain nameless) that now charges for it's classifieds.

I am trying to continue to support The Leatherwall but the classifieds here can be difficult to work with. Any suggestions?

I know there is a lot of trading, buying and selling going on over on some of the Facebook sites.

This forum is the only one I use. I’ve sold 20 or so bows in the last year and bought a couple too. No real issues here.

In addition to here, Traditional Bowhunters Classified and Left Hand Traditional Classifieds on FB, and the classifieds on TG. I've had good experiences on all of the above sites.

hey Steve...been awhile. :) I still do quite a bit of buying/selling/trading on here, but I'm a little more careful these days. I also use FB and another archery site with the initials archerytalk... they also have a trad forum. I haven't had too much trouble, but it's not like the old days... :) Bob

I'll be going to Kalamazoo in two weeks. I always get lucky there. If you are still in Auburn, it's only about a 100-mile drive.

Facebook for me now, I have sent numerous private messages to people on here trying to buy a bow with no response returned, I have never been a wheeler dealer so when I want to buy something and its in the price range I buy it, so it's very discouraging when they don't respond.

Facebook not only has traditional archery groups, but also groups devoted to a single brand of bow

I use AT, Bowsite and Leatherwall primarily. I have been treated very well by members on all sites. I had good transactions on TT also, but they are VERY sensitive when you use the words "wheels" or "cams," even just as an explanation for something. Decided to come here. This site is GREAT.

I don’t do social media so that’s out. I’ve bought and sold quite a bit here over a lot of years and have had attempted scams 3 times I can think of. Luckily I figured it out so no loss other than time and effort with those clowns . I used tradgang some in the past and quit shortly after they went pay to play. I’d probably go $20 a year but $35 just doesn’t sit right . So to answer the question, I try here for a while then move to eBay

I’ve had good luck on here. Selling, buying and trading. No need to go to eBay.
