I was building some new arrows last night. Bare shaft and fletched are shooting good out of my Elkheart. Shot from 18 yards. Just gotta tip and tail them, after I take my little girl out sledding. 24°without the wind chill that shouldn't take to long.

Good and happy shooting, shooters.

Morning.

I was going to shoot some longer than 20-yard shots outside but it's raining hard.

I love seeing the bows on this thread.

I agree! Moleman, your Oid Krohn's bow is a cool looking bow, I've never hear of that make before. Nice grip.

Frank, impressive shooting! Especially considering the length of those classic Bear Super Mag.

Danel thanks. I got shooting my Bear Super Magnum down good out to 20 yards I'm working on being more consistent with it out to 30 yards before archery season gets here. It is a short little bow at 48"amo. It's the shortest bow I ever owned. I've had no problems with stacking, but the high grip took a little time to get use to but no biggie. I feel I'm going to enjoy hunting with it this year. Especially out of my natural ground blinds.

Nice shooting all. Haven’t been here for a bit. Got a chance to do 2 from 20 this morning, first shot right in but dropped the second a bit. Have a great day everyone

I havn’t shot for a couple of weeks due to the weather so it felt good to go out and shoot a couple from 18 yards. Both are a little low but I was pleased that they are next to each other. The first shot was the arrow on the right. Bear “A” riser with number one limbs @ 50# and POC’s from Suzanne St Charles. Have a good day everyone! Lance

Thought I'd try a 20 yarder left handed today. The stars must have aligned last night because I got plum lucky! Bear Kodiak 50@28 and cedar shaft. Great day to all.

Darton Clipper 56” 52#, 2016s.

Four shots seated from 27 yds. The first shot is in that mess at the top. There’s a bare shaft in there too.

Still trying to get this new string quiet. The answer may be cat whiskers. It usually is.
