Somewhere I saw heavier then 100 grain inserts for gold tips. They were stainless steel. Anybody seen these? They were 200 grain.

Have you tried Lancaster? They usually seem to have just about everything…

I think i saw it on a broadhead site.

Yeah, now that I’ve said that… I just checked the catalog and I see 100 grain brass as the top end…

Although, to be honest… I’m having trouble imagining having any “need“ for that kind of weight in the insert… with a steel glue on adapter and a fairly heavy broadhead, it shouldn’t be any big trick to get up to whatever kind of load you really want, unless you are going for something beyond UEFOC…

I’m not saying that I don’t appreciate the theoretical benefits of higher FOC, but there is a point at which you are simply dealing with too much weight to throw it at a suitable velocity for my purposes… YMMV

Ethics Archery may have something. I have the light version insert/outsert on my traditional only arrows. And insert cut short and outsert together are 80gr. Awesome setup.

Didn’t Ethics archery make stainless inserts for GT’s heavier than 100? I’m pretty sure they do.

Traditional Archery Solutions made them all the way up to 250+ as well as ethics, tuffhead, and a few others.
