I am helping a friend with an ILF set up. He has a 17” Phoenix riser and is looking to purchase Uukha limbs, probably the Gobi model in short or medium length. I know that the limb bed on the Phoenix varies with riser length so the gain of 1#/1” below a 25” riser length does not work.
For those of you with experience with this riser/limb combination, what weight change do you see from the marked weight on a Phoenix 17” riser (or 15” or 19”)?
Thank you.

The nature series, such as the gobi are rated on a 19" riser, so the gain should be minimal.now the 1's rated on a 25" riser are hard to guestimate. I had a pair of sx50s that were 5# heavier than what they shoulda been on any riser i put them on.

You can go to their calculator at the bottom of the page and plug in the numbers. I've found it to be within a pound or two.

"Morrison metal ILF risers gain 7-8pounds over a 25" -rated limb poundage"
This is also what I have found with the 2 pound increment limbs but I think the Nature line may be not as exact as I had some Saiga's and Irbis come in a pound or so light.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I am aware of the calculator and I know the Uukha Nature Series and Gobi limbs are rated on a 19" riser.
Is anyone shooting Gobi limbs on a 17" or 19" Phoenix riser and what is the difference between the actual measured weight and the marked weight on the limb? My concern and question is based on the changing limb bed angle on the Phoenix. I thought the there was a standard bed angle for all length ILF risers, but I could be mistaken.

{{{"... I thought the there was a standard bed angle for all length ILF risers, but I could be mistaken."}}}
No... there is no standard, but later models of the Morrison risers follow closely to a standard similar to DAS, Tradtech and Hoyt.
I'm confident the Uukha calculator will be very close for your friend.
