Who shoots 2213's and what weight and draw length do you shoot them from?

I shoot 29" from a high performance 45lb. Frankenbow that I put together some years ago. Rest/center shot adjustability allows them to tuneike they are riding on a wire.

I shoot them from two recurves, one is 46 lb at 30" and the other is 44 lb at 30" (my draw length is 30"). Cut 30.75" BOP, 125gr point. Risers are about 3/16" past center. Three 5" feathers. Seems to shoot a straight arrow if I do my part.

I used to shoot them years ago from a few different bows from, at my draw length, 46 to 52lbs.

Somewhere around that time (90's?) I had a take down hard case I hadn't used in a couple years. While moving stuff around I opened it to use it again, and found half a dozen camo 2213's I forgot I had!

I use them with a 45# recurve that is cut way past center. They are a great 3D arrow especially for longer range targets. They seem to penetrate less than other shafts , lighter weight and larger diameter.

They are a good arrow, just relative thin wall thickness at .013. That said I have some 1913 that I've shot quite a bit, even at some stumps, and they are pretty good at taking some tough hits. You have to take into account your dynamic setup and if they will fit. They are a .410 static spine @ 28".

I used them from a 55# recurve and R/D Lb. Still have a couple doz AO at my son’s house for when I visit him.

4t5, let them 30" or longer. At 30", they will effectively be a .500 and much more friendly from your recurve...31" would even be better.

2213's are the same static spine as a 2018 and a 2115.

I used them with great results when I first started bowhunting in the early 90's. I was using a 55# Howatt Mamba. Shafts were cut to 29" and I drew just over 27". Heads were 145 grains.

I shot them one year out of a 52# DH Cavalier. 125 magnus 2 blade. Not very good penetration. Through a doe and sticking out both sides. Dead der of course but I'm into heavier arrows these days.

They are 9.8 grains per pound, so they are not exactly light when you compare them with many carbons of the day. You can easily get them over 500 grains at 30" arrow with about 160 to 175 grain tips. I shot a 2013 plumb through a whitetail buck with only the feathers hanging up on the opposite side, and that was significantly less mass. A relaxed deer is no match to repel a near 500 grain arrow if it's flying well and has a good penetrating head.

I’ve played with them off my #46 Zipper Nitro longbow. Shoot great at 30” with 175 grain point. Found a pile of 2115s shortly after trying the 2213 and haven’t gone back to them yet.

I would be hard pressed to scrounge up any of those 2213 arrows. More weight up front would for sure made a difference in penetration. That was quite a few years ago and I pretty much stick with wood now. An occasional dabble with carbon reminds me of why. 8^)

I use them with a 45# recurve with them cut at 28 1/2 inches.

They spine excellent from my Toelke Whip #53@28' drawn to 28.5". I have them cut 29.5" with a 145 up front.
