I was very fortunate to do well this archery season so today I went to my cabin and had backstraps for lunch. Delicious Pictures next time

Nice cabin. I can smell the backstraps.

How do you rotate them? Just once, on the grill, with teriyaki sauce. Yum.

note: I lifted the picture.

That’s a 40$ slice of meat in NYC. Nice looking place.

Teriyaki sauce is ok but I prefer soy sauce with chopped garlic. Darn, now I'm hungry. Frank

I’m roasting back straps and Tenderloins today for Christmas Eve dinner. Rubbed them in Browning sauce, coffee, black pepper and salt then seared in a cast iron pan. 8 hrs in the oven at 250 with beef stock. Will be moist, tender.

Also have a deer rear leg and shoulder soaking in brine and will smoke them Sunday

I have 2 roasts brining in fridge for a few days in tender quick brown sugar & black pepper. Gonna put in smoker tomorrow morning. Also have 4 wild turkey leg quarters Gonna pressure cook until falling off bone then make wild turkey soup along with the venison ham.
