Just curious as to how often you will hunt a stand? I try to not use a stand more than 1 morning and 1 evening in a row. I pick my choice depending on wind direction but have a couple that don’t matter a lot in that respect. I know some guys don’t have as many options.

Every day depending on wind and weather conditions.

I've hunted the same stand every day for a week. Seen deer every day, and hot the one I was waiting on. More than once.

Depends on whether you get busted or not ;)

Depends on the wind. My favorite I'm lucky with the almost usual prevailing winds. But some days I have to change. JF

as long as the sign around the stand stays active and I am having close encounters and not getting busted.

Depends on the wind.

Depends a lot on how much I have to disturb an area entering and exiting the stand.

I try not to hunt any one stand more then once or twice a week. I have 7 stands set up for different winds, so I usually have more then one choice.

Rarely hunt the same tree twice. I’m a hang and hunt guy. I just hunt fresh sign or patterns.

Depends on the deer movement at that spot. I like to hunt evening, morning, evening, morning, and then move. That can depend on the weather. If I'm seeing deer I'll stay longer, but after a bit, I get tired of walking in the same way, and looking at the same woods.

I rarely hunt the same place twice I use a climber & am always moving around.im on the coast in va & its flatland with very few pinch points natural funnels etc & the deer here are are not very consistent in their patterns. There are exceptions & especially during the rut. I have a ladder stand in a cedar tree on the marsh that during the rut I'll sit that stand 3-4 days in a row. The bucks travel the marsh edges looking to cross a hot doe track. When it's right iv seen 15 different bucks in an all day sit.

More important than using the same stand is using the same route to it. Change that route up every few trips or they will smell your stinky feet and avoid you without your knowing.

every day regardless of the wind. I hung my dirty t shirt from the feeder and deer get used to my smell. I change the T shirt every two or three days and add feed every day. Have been as close as 5 feet to feeding deer from my blind , and they ,for sure , smelled me there, but my smell = food. I even kept feeding them after the season ended , and been there watching them eat , just for the pleasure of being close to them.

Not only does it depend on wind it also depends on time of year. Early in the season I try not to over hunt any of my stands. Even if the wind is right going in and out you leave scent or a presence. When the rut kicks in and the bucks are really moving all bets are off. You could hunt the same stand every day and see different deer and bucks that travel into your area from miles around. I can think of a handful of times over the years where I saw 13-17 different bucks in one sitting at the peak of the rut.
