That link doesn't work because there are spaces in it. Here is the link without the spaces.

Hopefully Hygromycin is approved, and can help get rid of this horrible stuff. I've seen what it has done to many people.

Lyme nearly killed my brother. After a very long battle they finally pulled every tooth in his head that had a filling and finally started making some progress. He is forever changed.

It is great news if this treatment works.

Sounds promising, but I'm not getting my hopes up. There's been a number of "magic bullet" treatments put forward in the past and none have proven to be as effective as advertised. Disulfiram is one of the most recent and, while somewhat effective and worth trying (I did) it has some pretty severe side effects and doesn't really address the many possible (probable) co-infections.

Still, I'll follow the progress this one and keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for the info.....

Had it more than once, first time was brutal! Took antibiotics for 21 days. Don't wish it on anyone.

I was always under the impression that the bug (spirochete) was killed with a good course of antibiotics and those with a prolonged symptoms was due to their own immune response?

I have the alpha gal from a tic bite -no bug at all -just an immune reaction still highly reactive at my last test and its been over 6 years since I got reactive
