Yes. It's Jerry Hill. Howard Hill's nephew.
About the blood: Jerry wants the blood, and it has meaning. I just put it together the way he wants it. With, or without, I like it either way.

The same as I use building arrows it's also on one of my bows. It is a finger nail decoration if that eases your feelings any.
