I've read some posts about Jim Casto Jr's archery program, and it sounds like it has helped many on here. Does anyone know how to get it? I can't seem to bring up his handle to send him a pm. Thanks!

Mr Casto has been very generous with his program and it has helped me greatly and I’m sure many others on here as well! Follow the program!

Jim is a great guy to know and work with on the TP issue. He knows what it's like. He has generously sent his program to literally hundreds of people who request it. It has certainly helped me a lot. One note of advice--do the program exactly as designed, no short cuts. You may be tempted but don't. :o)

What type of information dose the program have in it? Is there anything unique about it?

A Tag, what I like is the fact that Jim's program has you actually aiming at a spot on the target from the first time you draw--no blank bale work. I think that in going from blank bale to aiming at a spot introduces something new that you haven't been doing to that point. Jim's program begins so close to the target that you have no problem aiming and holding, believe me. LOL From the beginning, Jim focuses on a good shot sequence, anchoring tight to your anchor point, aiming at a spot for a few seconds, getting your back tension and letting down--30 times a day at gradually varying distances. You do this for many sessions before ever releasing an arrow. For that reason, some guys give up because they think they are ready to do a bit of shooting before the time. But those who follow the program as designed find it provides real help. Like Jim, I dealt with target panic for years. I once heard Jim say that he would give somebody a large sum of money (don't remember the amount now but big) if they could cure his TP. He now shoots in competitive events and shoots really well. I can tell you that two weeks ago I shot in a 3D shoot around other people without the need of a clicker which I had depended on for years. I hope this helps explains what I like about the program.
