Been out of the game for quite a while now, have a bow I roughed out awhile ago and was/ am going to sinew back but don't have any sinew glue, I remember reading that you can use TB3, if I remember correctly, anybody have any experience using this and or suggestions or tips TIA

Bah. It just ain't the same. Get some good hide glue. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

any grocery store will have knox unflavored gelatin...which is very refined hide glue.

Knox gelatin is basically refined hide glue. I've used it several times.

I just used Knox on a snake piece of Osage. Never had any issues. Still shooting one I made 20 years ago. TB3 does work and cures quicker but you still have to cure the sinew. Mike Yancey at Pine Hollow sales some really high quality hide glue. He sent me some last month and I’m planning on using it on another box. Mixed some and tested it. Great stuff. Just remember to clean and ruff up the surface. Prep is the key. I lightly sand it and ruffed it up with an old fine tooth hacksaw blade. Talk with Mike.

Now that’s a great tip!

So would that same gelatin be good for making primitive arrows with sinew wrapped stone points?

Yes.
