Bought at ETAR swap meet in 2019. It is 66" and 40lbs. at 28". It rockets my 1716's into the bale. Very smooth pulling and shooting bow.

From a 1962 Pearson ad it calls the riser wood Bolivan Rosewood. Looks like cocobolo. Dark and beautiful.

Was such a nice sunny afternoon today, I decided to do some backyard shooting at my bale. Used my Pearson Lord Sovereign that I refinished. Such a good shooting bow at 40 pounds and is really fast cast. The handle fits perfectly.

Correction on the arrows mentioned above, should read 1816's not 1716.

You said the bow is 66", but what is the riser length, fade-out to fade-out? Nice looking bow.

Very very nice Scott!! Thanks for sharing your work, it turned out great! I'm always amazed at the level of detail and craftsmanship that went into these production bows and you brought it back to life. Some custom bows today are far off that level of sculpturing and detail. Good ol'times I guess

Good Old Days for sure, Very Nice Scott
