Have a Paul Bunyan 100 @60" and 50#. What would the brace height be?

If I recall, I ran my 300 at 7-7.5”

7 1/2" on mine

8 to 9, and use a FF string. Helps take care of that heavy thump in the hand.

I can't tell you what the correct brace height is, but I just measured mine. I have been shooting it at just a touch over 7". I was surprised that it was that low. It doesn't look all that low to me. I would say 7.5" Over 8 would seem excessive to me, but that is personal choice. I know that mine is still super quiet at that brace height and can still get my head between the string and bow to carry it on my neck if I need my hands free, lol.

Brace settled at 7-7 1/8" and I'll confirm that flies well tomorrow.

Finally, got some arrows that didn't fly sideways from this bow. At 50# I haven't shot a bow this light since 13 or 14. Dug through my arrow bins and found a couple 2020's with aluminum broadhead adapters and a 160 or 190 grain point. Not sure but will check tomorrow. Glad I held on to this arrows because they fly as good as they can at 10 yards. Don't even hardly see the arrow fly prior to hitting the target. More shooting tomorrow and tab testing.

Good luck. I am using 500 spine carbon that are 31" long. I bet you would be happier with 2018 or 2114 shafts if you any. Or 55/60 woodies. Could be wrong.

That's something to look into. I'll have to see what length arrow I need for this bow. 2020's sure fly very well with heavy heads. I'll see if there are any 400 spine carbons laying around. Perhaps I can get an arrow close to actual draw length.

The three arrows I have average 635 grains at 29 1/2" with a 160 grain tip. These fly very well. Could trim some off the length to get weight down, but add stiffness.

Put two pieces of para cord like string sheath in my string at 18% of length. Drops string noise to mouse fart level. Arrows are flying very well when I cant the bow and flex my knees.

I wouldn't trim them down at all.

Perhaps I'll run into a couple 2018 in the arrow graveyard.
