That bow looks like it was whittled out of a 2x4.

AGINCOURT and POITIERS (spellings?) ALL OVER AGAIN! More about the BOW! How about the ARROWS! BLESSED BE!

The bow is 90lb @ 28" and tillered to 30". It's made from a single stave of English Yew felled from Staunton Harold Hall in Derbyshire. The age of the tree was thought to be around 1000 years old, so it was 500 years old when Azincourt was happening. The bow was made by my good friend, bowyer and artist Gary Williamson.
