I'm looking at a Shakespeare Ocala X-17. It's marked 60" 50#. Any info you have on this model would be greatly appreciated. Thanks K.T.

What sort of information do you want? They are about as good a 60" bow as you are going to find.

Both the 60" and 62" Ocala and the 56" Kaibab were top preformers!

I’ve got the exact same bow. Killed 2 deer with it this season. It’s a solid rig. Put a slip on selway quiver on it and it gets even better. Mine is rough looking. Lots of cracks in the surface finish/fiberglass. Still shoots fine.
I also have the green one thats 62” it’s marked 45- and scales around 40.
I shot a 650ish grain arrow with a point on at 20 and a fixed crawl for 15. Enjoyed the heck out of this bow last year.
I think a fair price is in the neighborhood of $150.

I have a bubinga Ocala. It has always been a good shooter for me. I like the heavy riser portion.

Thanks for the info. I passed on it because it had multiple sight holes /front and back. I did buy a nice Necedah for $90.00 off Flea Bay.
