This will be my first time going to ETAR. Only able to go for Sat-Sun. Always wanted to but this is first time all the stars aligned.

Just saw the final vendor list and it seem a lot smaller then I remember from previous years, only 54 vendors when some years there were over 100. Just wondering if there was a reason or it just the way it is. Some noticeable missing vendors:

Big Jim Leon Stewart St. Joe Rivers Dryad Robertson Stykbow

Big Jim is always there as a Leon Stewart I haven’t seen Joe Rivers in a while, and I’ve never seen Dick Roberts in there

Big Jim and Leo Stewart was on the vendor list before they made the final confirmed list that was posted on April. Unless I'm wrong?

I Think there is still time for more vendors to apply, who will know till the day of opening.

When I did a quick look at the above link, I see “confirmed “ but not the word “final.” I am I missing something?

From: HuumanCreed

OK. My apologies. Maybe the word final is assumed on my part. Because l saw Big Jim and Stewart name were removed. I assumed that they had pull out. Hope I'm wrong.

Maybe BigJim will chime in. I know some campers posted complaints about his generator noise last year. He wasn’t actually in the camping are for the attendees. The complaints were from a small group and could have been handled better.

Well the generator noise was rampant through the big fields as well and not only where Big Jim sets up. But is does drown out the dogs barking and the dog fights. Besides. Don't need that many vendors when you have Amazon and the swap meet.

I am a vendor D&M Custom arrows and I have a booth this year and I am not on the list

That list is not up dated I would put money on it South Cox is said he is going and I don't see his company on that list I know that Art Vincent is retired from Cedar Ridge Leather works and he is on the list and hasn't been there in 3 year

I am sure they will have a more updated list soon

Yes there will be more before July.

Yeah some did complain about a generator "IN THE VENDORS AREA". Then DON"T camp near the Vendors area, that area is for them. Some people NEED CPAP machines that need generators. Lord knows there are LOTS of other spaces to camp there. Because you don't need on does't mean others don't. Do I like them running, not really. But on the other hand I am tolerant (there are always soft ear plugs) and understand the need for one. It is a lot easier to listen to the drone of a generator, than neighbors who are loud and talk Real BS till late at night and start it again early in the morning. I can tell you as of right now, Art Vincent will be there this year as a vendor if he is not on the list. DANNY

I wouldn't worry too much about the number of listed vendors just yet. There are always over 100 at show time.

What is the date, location of this event?

From: Red Beastmaster

Look up PA Wilds Archery Events. It's all there.

Think I’m going to skip it this year. ?????

The actual dates for ETAR this year is July 25-28th. It is now held at the Sawmill Ski Resort Morris, PA. Camping is first come first served for sight locations, there is plenty of room, I think more area than there was when it was at Ski Denton. Plus now they have a really good Fireworks display Friday night. DANNY

I will be there barring any tragedy... or request for me to attend without my generator.

The new location is fantastic compared to the old location... for venders at least. Three of my four best years ever at ETAR have been at Sawmill.. partially because I am not set up in a mud pit and partly because it is a more convenient place for attendees.

In this day with people using cpaps it would be hard to keep from allowing people to run their generators all night.

Jimmyjumpup As has been mentioned, I'm set up in a vendor area and the generator on my motorhome is exceptionally quiet in comparison to most. I also pay over $2k a year for that space. Worth it to me, but not to sweat my fat butt off after an exhausting day working! BigJim

Don’t worry , there’s a lot more that will be there. That’s only who’s confirmed thus far.

How many vendors you need? To me you wind up just looking at the same stuff in a different spot.

From: Linecutter
Date: 09-Apr-24

Well I guess now Art Vincent won't be there as a Vendor. He found out that he is going to need to have a hip replacement. A date for that hasn't been set yet. He is very disappointed he won't be there again this year as a Vendor. Working a booth by yourself and at his age is taxing enough, then to be post surgery on top of that. Hopefully next year? DANNY

How many vendors? I want every vendor that wants to come set up, it is their living!

Sadly we have not been able to get back since Covid year and the move to the new site. We just never can get ahead enough to have the inventory of stock bows. Planning some big changes for 2025 and you may just see St Joe River Bows back on the vendor list there. Watch for us.
