I’ve wanted a Kodiak Magnum greenie in the 55-60# weight range for quite awhile ( the bow is marked 58# under the strike plate) and when I saw this one on eBay for a really good price because of a “slight limb twist” I finally bought it. I have removed twists before so I thought, “how bad can it be”? Well, it was bad; not at all a “slight” twist, and on both limbs. I tried for a week to remove the twist and every time it came back. I finally contacted Ken, and he said he’d give it a go so I mailed it to him. After weeks of perseverance and a little coaxing by removing some material he was able to get the bow straightened out. I made a string for it, put on a Bear hair shelf rest, a strike plate from Keefers and shot it today. What a joy! I only draw 28” so there was no stacking. Just a smooth draw all the way through. Thanks for looking, and thanks again Ken! Lance

James, I spent about 90 minutes with a magic eraser and car wax to clean it. Thanks, Lance

I never charged anyone for removing a twist. Knife guy sent me a beautiful custom quiver. It was a total surprise. and arrived before twist was removed, just for the effort of trying to fix his bow. >>>-----> Ken

It's pretty cool when you can bring INE back from the brink.

I just got a blacktail elite back from Ken and am very pleased with the job he did. Reduced the weight repaired some bloodwood cracks and got the tiller straightened out. Very easy guy to deal with and a straight shooter. Very refreshing to work with someone that follows through and charges a reasonable fee.

Thanks again Ken, Mark

Totally awesome, beautiful bow Lance, awesome save and awesome results. Great save Ken, two great guys blessing each other. Friendship form this way and I'm sure that it has again. Sweet!

Looks terrific. Better than Factory New.

Lance, be careful...a Twisted Evil Dwarf is even scarier than a standard EDB. There's no telling what that one might have up its crooked sleeve. I recommend wearing eye protection and a crucifix.

Otherwise, that bow looks in good shape. INOP, the Bear Kodiak Magnum, is one of the best 52 inch recurves out there (factory made) and most popular. There are alot of other good ones as well. BPH-52 comes to mind, and some customs, too.
