Hey guys, I have been using a Phillips Crester for over 25 years and this week one of my driving bands broke...well seems no one has them. I got a few from Lost Nation Archery, but the one I needed was not available...anyone know where I might find replacements, or have some they might sell or trade...

Measure the OD and thickness. You should be able to order some online with that info.

Orings are not hard to make.

Try an auto parts supplier.

I have tried several sources, but they are selling o-rings and they are close in size, but will not stretch, so they bind up the little electric motor....I found one company that sells circular, not flat rubber bands, but they will sell only to companies and in large quantities...I really do not want at this time to have to purchase a new spin-rite.....

As suggested...pm.aromakr.

Orings splice kit consists of a razor blade and crazy glue.

I was fortunate that when I needed the rings there is/was a company in San Marcos, CA that is/was their business. I bought a few of each. Course the man wanted to sell me a hundred of each.

It’s called Real Seal in Escondido, CA not San Marcos. They have a website.

Hey Bob, I'd like to get a set of o-rings (or two) also for this model shown. I bought it from you way back when at the K-zoo show.

Hopefully you have some old stock left?? Thanks, Joe

I got some from a hydraulic place one time that I couldn't find anywhere else

This comes up every so often. Unless these are special made o-rings they should not be hard to find. There are specific sizes numbers for o-rings called "dash number." You just need the thickness and ID or OD and go to an o-ring chart.

Here's a quick probable source. McMaster Carr. The page listed below is red silicone, most likely what the Phillips came with. I guessed on thickness of 1/16". Match your OD/ID and you get 25 or 50 for under $10. Yes, that is more than you need. Sell the rest here. ;-)

Bob,

I need them too. Spent several trips and $ to get some and still they are wrong. I have a rubber band on now. That isn't working too well!

I'd be glad to pay the going rate for them.

The small ones I received from aromakr were black and identified as Item #56023F and industry #113, ID. 9/16, OD 3/4 and thickness 3/32" the medium size are 1-3/4" OD, and the large 2-1/2" OD. All are 3/32" thickness.

Ok Based on hud's info.

3/32" is not a common size O ring, BUT #113 is actually .103"

We don't know the hardness (durometer) I would guess soft, but I've listed hard and soft part numbers. The # is the industry "dash" number used across all materials of o-rings.

Small - #113 Medium -- #129 Large -- #141

Quantities may be a bit large, but with the dash number you can go local. I would advise ONLY the silicone for the ones that actually touch the arrow. Some black leave marks, some don't and it is from batch to batch not material choice.

Two kinds of O ring material buna n and viton buna n is what you need

From: Dan In MI
Date: 30-Mar-24

Viton is expensive and just ok for traction, and buna leaves marks on arrows.

If you don't use silicone they will leave black marks on the shaft.

I will have some in stock on Tuesday.
