I wanted to order a KB for the longest time but now that I'm ready I am leaning toward the PCH. I love a one piece and the fact it is a little lighter but I really want the option of having different weight and length of limbs. Which do you all prefer? I'm leaning toward 60 inch PCH 35@28. I draw 27.75 inches but my shoulders can tell the difference in my 58 inch bows vs a 60 inch.

the PTF one piece is my favorite of their recurves

I have both and if I had to choose, I’d choose the PCH only for the fact that it is a take down. I flew to Kodiak Island with my KB and it was a pain so I ordered a PCH for my next trip to Alaska. Now I’m thinking of ordering a set of lighter limbs for it.

The 60” PCH is the one I would pick.

I think you answered your own question ..... You cant change limbs on the KB. I doubt that you'll be disappointed with either. They are both great rigs backed by a great company....Good luck..We will want to see your choice...

That osage KB is pretty sharp looking.

Had two PCH. Very very good quality. Never had really great shooting with them, couldn't get used to the look. I do like the take-down concept. Sold them.

Years went by, got a new PTF. It looks better. Shoots much better for me. Killed a lot of deer with it and I still am. They need a stiff spine. I learned to build the side plate out to make the PTF shoot for me w 80-85 cedars.

I would like a PTF w 10lb less draw weight. Currently I use 60lb@30. That is more than you need for whitetails. I don't think I have ever had an arrow not pass thru a deer with that set-up.

I have a Big Jim Monarch on order. It's going to take a lot to earn the starting position! The BW is as good and tough as a bow can be.

I have a KBV and it is 40# @ 28". As I get older I like the weight of the KB and I am sure BW can reduce the draw weight 5-6 lbs.. I shoot 28" but the draw is so smooth you could go much more than that.

I also have a SAX but it is longer and heavier I use for 3 D. The KBV for hunting.

Red Lion, that’s a very special bow. I’d love to shoot the 54” although it is super short. I have a 54” Shakespeare Super Necedah that is 54” and it shoots very well for me.
