Anyone strip perfectly fletching just because you’re board or wanted to change colors for some crazy reason….

Nope, it stays on 'till the shaft doesn't fly right or it tears off. Price of feathers is too high to be fickle.

Yes, I get bored looking at the same arrows. I have some GT trads that are over 10 years old that have been refletched 3 or 4 times at least. Course I use wraps which makes it easier. Now I have my eyes on a dozen Axis that need to be red and black.

Yes, I've done this, many times.
My arrows must have brightly colored feathers! Yellow, white, chartreuse, etc. I use a very sharp thin bladed pocket knife or a exact type knife to strip off feathers. Wood shafts are a little more difficult, so I'm careful not to cut into the shaft.
I will state, that I keep old shafts that have the dyed barred fletchings, that was popular years ago. I enjoy the muted yellows and oranges and other colors as it brings a bit of nostalgia.

I use fletch tape so on carbon or aluminum it's easy. Different on wood can cause damage. Not often

Same for me Rooty, tape. I can strip off with dental floss and re- apply if I do not like something. Or, if I break a shaft with good fletching, I can remove and put on another shaft.

I have more than enough trouble keeping up with the ones which really really need it…
Brad and Clydebow made me laugh!!
I don’t usually try to remove and reuse, but I break arrows often enough that I probably should learn how to make do with that….

Normally, no. But I did recently, because I was running out of time and was trying to put together a bunch of arrows for a 3D match and was low on shafting, etc. So, I stripped some 3 fletch feathers, off of both some factory fletched arrows and some I had made before, to get a few more arrows that matched some new ones I had made with 4 each 4" fletches. Some of the 3 fletched ones were getting a little rough and beat up, anyway.
